SAGCD President Alan A. Robb’s 2024 Fourth of July Letter

Dear Members,

As we approach the Fourth of July, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each of you and your families for a joyous and safe holiday. This day marks the celebration of our nation’s independence and is a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity.

While many of us will spend the holiday enjoying time with loved ones, barbecuing, and watching fireworks, it’s also an opportunity to appreciate the hard work and dedication that each of you contributes to our union and our country. Your commitment and perseverance are what make the International Longshoremen’s Association strong and resilient.

Please remember to celebrate responsibly and take the necessary precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday. If you are traveling, be mindful of safety guidelines, and if you are staying local, support our communities by celebrating in ways that keep everyone healthy and secure.

Thank you for your continued hard work and dedication. I am proud to serve alongside you and look forward to our ongoing efforts to support each other and our union.
