REMINDER

FACE COVERING REQUIREMENT

With the increased virus transmission of the delta variant, please be reminded of the mandated masks or face covering requirement at the work site and at union facilities.  The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued the “Transportation Hubs” order requiring individuals to wear a face covering in public when social distancing is impractical or not possible.  The CDC guidance is in accordance with all major scientific authority regarding the control of the spread of the virus.  It has been established that the wearing of face covering significantly slows the spread of this deadly virus.

The ILA/USMX Joint Safety Committee has mandated that a face covering over the nose and mouth MUST be worn by all indiviuals at any time an individual is in close proximity to another person.
