Local 1351 Demonstrates How Working Together Makes a Big Difference

Last week, volunteers from ILA Local 1351 Clerks and Checkers gathered to put together 500 care packages to be distributed to ILA workers at port terminals along the Houston Ship Channel over the next couple of days. Each package received a 12-ounce bottle of hand sanitizer, 2 pairs of gloves and a N95 mask.

“Working together is what we do best,” said ILA 1351 President Charles Lewis. “This couldn’t have been completed without support from SAGCD President, Alan Robb, District Representative Eloy Cortez, ILA 1351 Vice President Bill Williams, Jr. and the precious volunteers from ILA 1351 seen in these photos and videos. We are in this together and we will continue to support each other.”
