ILA Delivers Goods to First Responders in Appreciation

The Houston East End Chamber, Valero Houston Refinery and Texas Mattress Makers have stepped up to help ensure that those on the East End front lines of the response have what they need to stay safe and healthy. As part of the effort, Eloy Cortez, ILA-South Atlantic and Gulf Coast District (ILA-SAGCD) Representative and Houston End Chamber Chair, Charles Lewis, President of ILA Local 1351 and Robyn Williams, wife of ILA-SAGCD Secretary-Treasurer, Bill Williams, Sr. delivered goods to Houston’s first responders. They delivered hand sanitizer and over 150 meals purchased from local businesses, to show love and appreciation to the Harris County Constable Precinct 6, Houston Police Department Eastside Division and Houston Fire Department Stations 20, 23, 42, 28 and 22.
