WGMA LOCALS ONLY: NEW CONTAINER ROYALTY CRITERIA (Brownsville, TX to Lake Charles, LA)

The number of hours needed to qualify for Container Royalty has changed!  The new hours required are as follows:

Contract year October 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022

1,200 hours each contract  year (going forward)

1,000 hours average per year (going forward)

*Retiring members with a minimum of 500 hours will be considered qualified for the year they retire.  However, any individual exercising this option must have a 1000-hour average to receive a supplemental wage benefit for that contract year.  If the retired worker turns to work, they must work 1200 hours in the contract year to qualify for a supplemental wage.
