Dear Friends,
Last month, as we celebrated Juneteenth, I stressed the divisive issues we face today. So, as we honor our nation and our independence this July 4th, we must remain vigilant of the meaning of our democracy. However, you celebrate this holiday, please keep in mind democracy’s fragility and promise yourself to fight those forces that divide us and those that wish us working people ill-will. Celebrate our freedom. Celebrate our right to participate in this democracy. Commit yourself to be involved and be a participant in this democracy and not just stay on the sideline. Once again, I am honored to serve you and thank you for your hard work. So, have fun, stay safe, enjoy your family. God bless the United States. We pray for our country, and those who serve it. God bless you and your families.
