New Year’s Message 2022
Dear Friends:
Here we are on the eve of a new year, already! It seems like we just started 2021, but now we start 2022. We hoped with the onset of proven safe vaccinations, we would have escaped this thing called “Covid”. Fortunately, for those vaccinated and “boosterized”, the Omicron variant breakthrough cases have been relatively moderate; but, not so fortunate for those that remain unvaccinated. We mourn those we have lost. We praise our workforce for understanding the need for protection as critical workers. We don’t yet know the outcome of whether we will be subject to mandatory/testing requirements. Meanwhile, our best protection is getting vaccinated and the booster, mask-up and work safe, so our 2022 can be the year we return to normalcy.
2022 brings promise of better times. The ILA continues to be instrumental in meeting global commerce needs and keeping the vital supply chain moving. We pray for our continued success and for our loved ones and friends we have lost. I continue to be honored to serve you. I continue to thank you for your endurance. Thank you for your dedication. Thank you for your effort. God Bless America! God Bless the ILA! Happy 2022! I remain in solidarity with you.
Sincerely,
Alan A. Robb
President
