ILA Local 1414 Taking Proactive Covid-19 Measures to Ensure Safety

On Wednesday, May 20, 2020, ILA Local 1414 in Savannah, GA began on-site COVID-19 testing for their workers at the hiring hall. President Jackie Robinson and Vice-President Paul Mosley, Sr. have been working hard to ensure workers safety on a daily basis by handing out gloves, masks, hand sanitizers and checking workers’ temperatures.  In addition, the Local has implemented the practice of hiring outside the union hall to protect workers through social distancing.
